Partnering with Genas Aviation allowed Elisen to connect with top aerospace innovators and contribute insights into emerging technologies that align with Morocco’s growth strategy. Genas has been instrumental in advancing Morocco’s aviation infrastructure and supply chains. Through our partnership, we supported Genas in engaging with attendees on key topics such as aircraft certifications, and sustainable development. Together, we’re contributing to Morocco’s vision of becoming a global player in aerospace.
Spotlight on Emerging Technologies and eVTOL
One of the show’s most promising areas of focus was sustainable aviation, with local startups like SENERGYTEK driving progress in electric mobility. Their work in charging infrastructure lays a foundation for future eVTOL applications in Morocco, where urban mobility solutions are gaining momentum. Meanwhile, ALQAMAR Space’s propulsion systems and the Moroccan Initiative for Space Industry (MISI) highlighted the nation’s focus on supporting forward-thinking solutions that will shape the future of air travel and aerospace.
Workforce Development in Aerospace
Morocco is also investing heavily in developing its future aerospace workforce. The School of Aerospace & Automotive Engineering at Université Internationale de Rabat showcased projects like their new rocket prototype, emphasizing practical, hands-on training in advanced aerospace technology. This commitment to education strengthens the talent pipeline needed to support a competitive aerospace ecosystem, a goal we share and actively support through our industry partnerships.
